Looks like guests of the future space hotel will be able to nosh more than freeze dried meals and tang. Executives at Dominos Japan have devised a plan to build the world’s first pizza-chain on the moon.

Jezebel reports:

A company spokesman said they aren’t sure when the restaurant will open, but they’re very confident that soon there will be “many people living on the moon, astronauts who are working there and, in the future, citizens of the moon.”

The construction of a Dominos branch would involve transporting 70 tons of concrete to the moon and would cost an estimated $22 billion. No word yet if the “30 minutes or it’s free” guarantee applies to deliveries in outer space.
