Tourists to India should plan ahead if they intend to visit one of the countries’ tiger parks. Last week, the Supreme Court of India imposed an interim ban on tourists in the parks.

The court is considering a claim filed by a local environmentalist, that ecotourism is endangering tiger habitats and breeding grounds. The court will decide whether tourism in the parks is that much of an impact. The court should have a final ruling on the claim on August 22.
