Low-cost European carrier Ryanair is slimming down–literally. From the weight of their staff to the size of their in-flight magazine, the carrier is hoping that decreasing weight in any way on an aircraft, will cut down on fuel costs.

Something as simple as ice in a beverage translates to heavy bags of ice to carry on board. And the controversial move to keep their staff light and fit, is seen as encouragement to pose in Ryanair’s annual pinup-style, cabin crew calendar.

More on the measures Ryanair is taking to cut costs can be found at The Daily Mail.
