What is a city to do when there isn’t enough land to build a new hotel? Take to the sea of course!

Gibraltar’s Sunborn Yacht Hotel is the second of its kind (the first was introduced in 2002 in Finland). The yacht features 189 rooms, a spa, gym, cocktail lounges, a ballroom””almost all of the amenities of a cruise ship, sans cheesy entertainment and [hopefully] sea sickness. Rooms will run between $300 and $3,000 a night.

The Sunborn will be docked at the Ocean Village Marina, and accommodations should be available by the end of this year. Read more on the “superyacht” and take a look at the amenities onboard at CNN.com.
