If you know of any old men with a resemblance to Ernest Hemingway, now is the time to advise them to go to Key West, Florida. Hemingway Days, a 5-day festival celebrating all that is Hemingway–topped off by a lot of drinking–honors a Hemingway lookalike every year.

Key West is filled with old, portly men in white beards from all over the world in celebration of the author. The festival take place close to Hemingway’s birthday, July 21, and is centered around Sloppy Joe’s bar. Hemingway was a regular at Sloppy Joe’s and a sailfish he once caught hangs in the bar to this day.
