While many Americans (Irish or not) celebrate St. Patrick’s Day whole heartedly (and sometimes for days on end), the land of the holiday’s origin is getting creative this year.

Dublin’s Guinness Storehouse, home to the Guinness Brewery and Gravity Bar, will be the hub for the company’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival. The highlight this year? Guinness’ attempt to confirm St. Patrick’s Day as the “Friendliest Day of the Year” in their famed record book. St. Patrick’s Day fans are invited to pledge their support of the friendliest day on Guinness’ website or Facebook page.

Official festivities at the Storehouse begin on March 16 and run through the 18th. Live music and DJs, Guinness-infused food, Irish dancing, caricaturists, and marching bands will be a part of the festival run. And for the lucky revelers named Patrick–admission is free.
