A Zoo in China has angered many of its customers after it was noticed that the animal in the lion enclosure is not an African Lion at all, but a dog.

When the lion was removed to participate in a breeding program, zoo officials didn’t want to disappoint visitors with an empty exhibit, so they moved a Tibetan Mastiff in temporarily. Some specimens of this breed of dog can be a bit lion-y with a golden coat and fluffy hair around its head that looks like a mane. Some visitors are not impressed, demanding their money back after accusing the zoo of trying to deceive them. Apparently folks grew suspicious when the lion started barking.
