Toronto Airport Lets You Send Passengers a Carol

I have long harboured the secret desire to arrive at an airport and be met by someone holding a signboard with my name on it. Even better would be if they would spontaneously burst into song. Clearly the folks at one airport have tapped into travelers’ innermost fantasies.

Toronto’s Lester B. Pearson International Airport has introduced a novel way to spread holiday cheer to passengers traveling over the Christmas season. With a simple tweet, you can have carolers sent to sing a holiday tune to someone arriving or departing from YYZ.

Tweet A Carol is available between the hours of 3-8PM from December 15th to 24th. To request this joyful freebie for someone flying through Pearson, all you have to do is tweet the recipient’s name and flight number to @torontopearson. You can even specifically request one of 10 different carols.

All the Tweet A Carol deets are available on Pearson’s website.
