Superstitious people are speculating that the recently deceased landowner decided to take the pond with him to the afterlife following a bizarre incident.
An entire pond, including all the water, fish, and surrounding trees disappeared into a sinkhole one night in the village of Sanica, Bosnia two weeks ago.
The sinkhole has left locals in disbelief, with other popular theories being tossed about, such as that fish disturbed previously unexploded artillery shells from World War II.
