Samsonite has issued a recall on the Tokyo Chic suitcase. The company has produced the suitcase over the last three years, and about 250,000 units are affected by the recall.

The Consumer Council in Hong Kong found that the handles of the suitcases contain a chemical compound that can potentially cause cancer and birth defects in animals. The suitcases are mostly sold in Asia but are available to British consumers on specialty luggage websites.

Owners of the suitcase are advised to contact the retailer they purchased it from, to recall it properly. More on the Samsonite recall can be see at The Telegraph.
