Virgin Galactic announced that it is allowing their frequent flyers to trade-in miles for a ride in space.
Well, sort of. Virgin Galactic is allowing members of their Atlantic Flying Club to enter a drawing for the privilege of using their miles on Virgin Galactic.
According to the terms and conditions of the drawing,
“Once Virgin Galactic launches it’s first flight to space, Flying Club will draw a winner from all the entries received.”
The lucky winner of the drawing will be able to redeem two million miles for a ticket to space.
And what if the winner is a little short on miles? Easy, they can purchase up to 30,000 miles for $27.
Virgin Galactic plans to send its first spacecraft, SpaceShip Two, on a suborbital space flight later this year.
