We really dug V-MODA’s Crossfade M-80 headphones (released last year) – the look, the durability, the sound. And perhaps most importantly: it was all available in an ultra-compact, travel-friendly package.
Now the audio manufacturer’s upped the ante with the Crossfade M-100 series – billed as “a personal concert for your head”. And, at north of $300, they should be. Serious audiophile travelers, take note: you’re getting an awful lot for your money.
Features include: military-grade durability (including aircraft grade aluminum, a Kevlar cable, and a SteelFlex headband); collapsible design that folds into itself, freeing up valuable space in your carry-on bag; memory foam earcups are fantastic for longer flights and extended listening sessions; and an included SharePlay cable lets your travel companion plug in another set of headphones so you can watch in-flight movies and TV shows together … all wrapped up in an exoskeleton carrying case to ensure they won’t break in your suitcase. Oh and they sound amazing too.
