The iconic cruise ship known to television viewers as the star of the “Love Boat” has been sold to a Turkish demolition company.
The 40-year old former “Pacific Princess” had been docked in Genoa, Italy for the last year. With no plans to set sail again the ship was unfortunately no longer exciting and new. In addition to serving as the backdrop for the “Love Boat”, the ship was part of the Princess Cruises fleet from 1975 to 2002.
