Last week “A Room for London” opened as a temporary, one bedroom hotel commissioned by Living Architecture and Artangel.
The hotel’s designers drew inspiration from Heart of Darkness which documented Joseph Conrad’s riverboat voyage through the Congo. The hotel is placed atop the roof of the Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall concert venue. With room available for strictly two guests limited to one night, the hotel is currently booked through July.
