Fans of low-cost carrier Southwest Airlines may be in for a surprise now that the airline has instituted a no-show policy.
Passengers can still make changes to their ticket at no charge, but they must do so 10 minutes before boarding. If not, the value of the ticket is lost. Southwest originally allowed passengers that missed their flight or decided to cancel, to put the funds of the ticket towards a new flight.
