Italian fashion house Valentino used a very unique location to feature their RED collection this week–a former railway station in Singapore.
A year ago, Singapore’s Tanjong Pagar Railway Station was officially closed. This week, the art deco building was reborn again in the name of fashion. The station was chosen for the annual fashion show organized by NuYou and Female magazines.
The Tanjong Pagar Railway Station is historical, it’s interesting and it’s never been used for a fashion show before, says Grace Lee, editor of NuYou.
The station will continue to be preserved for additional events, including fashionable ones. More on Tanjong Pagar can be seen at Reuters.
