Dutch architecture firm NL Architects have designed a pavilion in southern China that brings in a bit of their traditional biking culture.
The firm’s design for a bike club, is half velodrome/half cafe. The architects were inspired by pagoda-style roofs and created a rooftop velodrome for cyclists, with bike rental and a cafe below. The club will be part of a resort in the Hainan province, with construction expected to be complete this year.
