Years ago, when Healthy Choice started offering an incentive with proof of purchase for American Airline Miles, David Phillips found a way to cash in.
Phillips started collecting Healthy Choice pudding cups. At 25 cents apiece, and with a charitable tax deduction kicking in, he spent $2,200 in order to receive over 1.2 million miles on American Airlines. He has secured lifetime gold elite status with American, and continues to accrue miles to this day.
