Prior to boarding her flight to Tanzania, Lena Patterson spotted a man in the aisles that looked very ill. A few hours into the flight the man died, having not responded to medical care on board. For the duration of the flight, the man was covered with a blanket and placed across three seats, across the aisle from Patterson.
Once Patterson returned home from her vacation, she contacted Kenya Airlines seeking compensation for her uncomfortable flight. After emailing the airline for months, she was just recently reimbursed for roughly half her ticket.
Other airline passengers have experienced the same situation in the last year. Read on for more from the Huffington Post.
