Travelers know that their gear takes a beating, plain and simple. This is especially true for flashpackers who often call on their mobile phone to be their communication device, camera, alarm clock, personal TV, MP3 player … and the list goes on. Which is why a good screen protector is essential.
Mobile accessory developer MediaDevil has just released their latest Magicscreen screen protectors for a variety of mobile devices. Its function is simple: “… protects your screen from scratches, reduces fingerprints and screen glare, and leaves no markings when removed. It does not reduce the touch sensitivity of the device screen, and does not affect the light/proximity sensors under the screen.”
We found the Magicscreen dead simple to install on our inhouse iPhone 4. And, perhaps more importantly, it actually stays on. After a weeks worth of use of trying to get it to peel off (by routinely pulling it in and out of our travel packs), no luck. For around $10, we’d call this a must-have accessory for mobile phone toting travelers.
