Knee Defender does exactly what it says:
… helps you stop reclining airplane seatbacks so your knees won’t have to.
It helps you defend the space you need when confronted by a faceless, determined seat recliner who doesn’t care how long your legs are or about anything else that might be “back there”.
I’m a fairly average sized guy – around 5’6″ or so (5’8″ in heels). So reclining airline seats have never been enough of a problem for me to warrant searching out a dedicated product to solve it. But, I suppose if you’re, say, the starting center for the Celtics or just a tall fella in general, perhaps you might like something like this.
The site specifically states that you’re not running afoul of any FAA regulations by using these. However, I’m sure the airlines are well within their rights to demand that you remove them from your “space” if you’re found out.
