Last summer, while pregnant with Blue Ivy, Beyonce vacationed in Hvar, Croatia with husband Jay-Z. The couple captured videos during their stay on the Croatian island in the Adriatic Sea, and in one, Beyonce seems to discover the name for her unborn daughter.
In the video, Beyonce notices a tree and identifies it as Blue Ivy. She then posted the video to her Tumblr page. That video attracted the attention of Hvar’s mayor Pjerino Bebic, who thanked the couple for their visit last year. He also wrote them with news that he is honoring Blue Ivy with honorary citizenship of Hvar. Since the couple’s visit last summer, Hvar tourism has increased dramatically.
