In China, Mom & Dad Can Now Sue Kids Who Don’t Visit

It can be a difficult toss up. You have a finite amount of precious money and time to spend on travel. Do you use it to take a rejuvenating holiday somewhere, or do you travel to visit family?

For people in China, there’s a new law that could factor into this decision-making process. Under the new legislation, which includes many different measures pertaining to the elderly, parents whose offspring do not visit them often enough can now sue their children as a result. You know, just in case a big fat guilt trip isn’t sufficiently persuasive.
