Throughout her 17 years as a flight attendant, one might say Heather Poole took on another career–that of anthropologist.
With thousands of passengers to greet, week to week, Poole has quite the collection of anecdotes. In “Cruising Altitude: Tales of Crashpads, Crew Drama, and Crazy Passengers at 35,000 Feet” Poole writes about her life as a flight attendant, focusing more on the job, not the airlines she worked for. She is after all, still employed as a flight attendant and plans to keep her job.
