Disney-bound vacationers from the UK are being charged 60 percent more for tickets than their French counterparts.
Disneyland Paris’ French-language website is currently offering special deals on day passes to Disneyland Park and sister park Walt Disney Studios. The passes would cost a French family (two adults and two children under the age of 12) only 119 pounds.
But the same tickets on the English-language site costs a British 192 pounds for the same passes–62 percent more.
And even if savvy French speaking British travelers attempt to purchase the French deals on the French language site they will be blocked unless they have a credit card registered in France.
A Disneyland Paris spokesman said:
“We strive to offer all our visitors the best value and flexibility when booking a trip to Disneyland Paris, with a wide range of promotions available to suit visitors different needs.”
