Over a period of 5 days last week, children in Seoul gathered outside the city’s Olympic City complex to build the world’s tallest LEGO skyscraper.
About 4,000 children participated in the building, which commemorated the 80th birthday of LEGO. The children received invites to the event via lottery pool, and built the tower with over 50,000 bricks. The final product at “LEGO World Tower Korea 2012” measured in at 105 feet. The first LEGO building record was set in 1988 in London.
