American rollercoaster fanatic Richard Rodriguez is hoping to beat the current Guinness World Record for the longest time spent on a roller coaster.

The feat is not for those with weak stomachs, and Rodriguez is a seasoned pro with 17 previous roller coaster world records. Starting May 31, Rodriguez will head to England’s Blackpool Pleasure Beach to ride “The Big One” for 103 consecutive days. Rodriguez has experience at Blackpool, spending 17 days on The Big One in 2007.

Nick Thompson, deputy managing director of Blackpool Pleasure Beach, told the Blackpool Gazette: We are delighted to welcome Richard back, he is like part of the furniture here now.

More on Rodriguez’s quest for the world record can be seen at The Daily Mail.
