Nine years ago when Atlantic City rolled out its “Always Turned On” tourism slogan many felt it was a little too salty for the seaside destination.
Now, a new slogan, “Do AC!” will be the centerpice of a 30 million dollar Atlantic City tourism campaign.
This huge campaign to promote the USA’s second-largest gambling resort is being paid by a group called The Atlantic City Alliance. The Alliance is part of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie’s multi-faceted plan to revive Atlantic City.
Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority president Jeff Vasser stated:
“As long as it motivates people to visit, that’s what matters. There’s a lot we can do with it, that’s for sure. It works as a platform for us to highlight different things ”” culinary, meetings, and things like that.”
