En route to England after the funeral for her husband, Angeline O’Grady had plans to scatter his ashes in his native land. But getting the box containing his ashes there, was the difficult part.
O’Gray was stopped by TSA agents while carrying the box of ashes through security. After the agents wouldn’t allow her to go through, she packed the box in her checked bag, marked the bag fragile and went on her way–until she found the box missing from her bag upon arriving in England.
Since November, O’Grady has been in regular contact with US Airways, with no luck. The airline claims they are still investigating the issue. Further coverage of the story can be found on msnbc.
