Spanish architecture firm OOIIO has designed a revolutionary new hotel in Lima, Peru. The hotel will not only be on a cliff, but also purposely unbalanced.
But without an investor, “the Unbalance Hotel” is only in a development stage. If the project is a go, it will offer 125 rooms in a picture frame-shaped structure with an open hole in the center. The shape is said to offer views of the Pacific Ocean for those residing behind the hotel. OOIIO director JoaquÃn Millán says, “We wanted to create something radical, strong. A landmark, a building that makes you think, a shape that shakes your imagination.”
And that it will, if it is built. Read more and view additional renderings of the hotel at CNN.com.
