For people in China, there’s a new law that could factor into this decision-making process. Under the new legislation, which includes many different measures pertaining to the elderly, parents whose offspring do not visit them often enough can now sue their children as a result. You know, just in case a big fat guilt trip isn’t sufficiently persuasive.
