So … as a follow-up to this terrifying and nausea-inducing gallery (for acrophobics at least anyway) we posted the other day, a Kansas City waterpark is set to debut the world’s tallest waterslide. At 17 stories, it will be “taller than Niagara Falls, taller than the Statue of Liberty from her toes to the torch” and “twice the height of the tallest wave ever surfed.”

The aptly named Verrückt (“insane” in German) waterslide will debut at Schlitterbahn Kansas City Waterpark in Spring 2014 amid a Guinness World Record-setting event.
