Jaunted points us to Travel + Leisure’s latest Top 20 Rudest Cities in America:
Vagabondish is reader-supported. When you buy through links on our site, we may earn a small affiliate commission. Read our disclosure.
The feature comes as part of T+L’s annual “Favorite Cities Survey,” which asks readers to rank 35 cities on 54 features, “including affordable hotels, great restaurants, romance potential, and the overall personality of the locals.” Los Angeles even managed to pass Las Vegas with its stoney-faced bouncers, Dallas with its hardcore conservatives and Boston with its die-hard sports fans. Rest assured, however, that New York still claims pride of place at #2, although we beg to disagree that it even should go that high on the list. If only everyone would just walk faster…
Providence is number 18? Boo. And I always fancied our people as a friendly lot.
In case you don’t get the print version of Travel + Leisure (that’s still in publication?!), Jaunted sums it up nice.
