#1: The Islands
Don’t visit Thailand and only visit the cities and the mainland. Although you might hear from many that the islands are more pricey and more of a financial drain — they are simply beautiful and worth a little extra expense. With stunning beaches and a super-lively atmosphere, it’s the islands that really give you that ”˜Thailand’ escape you’ve been day dreaming about.
#2: The Food
Many people visit this beautiful country and think it’s safer to eat in western restaurants like Pizza Hut and McDonalds! This simply isn’t true. Thailand is famous for its incredible food and fun, fresh cuisine — so make sure you check out some street stalls, night markets and local hang outs while you’re there.
#3: The Nightlife
If there is one thing the Thai’s know how to do”¦ it’s put on a good party. The full moon party happen every month and is quite simply but, the most epic, bigg3est beach party in the world. If that’s your kind of scene — then you won’t want to be anywhere else but there during the full moon celebrations. It’s lively, energetic and you’ll make memories and friends that last a lifetime.
#4: The Culture
One of the main reasons we love Thailand? Because of the completely different culture and all the amazing day to say things we can do that are so removed from the western world. Visitor a local market, or visit the famous floating markets in Bangkok”¦ you won’t ever have seen anything like it and it’s worth driving out of the cities or trekking a bit further off the beaten path.
