A new study by Check Safety First, and published in The Telegraph, claims that the bathroom tends to be the cleanest place in a hotel room due to the fact that it is scrubbed regularly. Conversely, items that are more difficult to clean tend to have the most bacteria, such as duvets, mattresses, and the television remote.
