This American West and Midwest gas station/convenience store chain has been around since 1963. The brainchild of oilmen William Krause and Tony Gentle, they chose a name that would combine their two businesses”¦and their initials.
Apparently, though, prior to the company’s launch no one ran any consumer testing for snickering, chortling or outright belly-laughing.
