“It is a charming town spread out over several low, refreshingly cool and green hills,” reads a website about a village near the mountains in Pakistan. The area has been popular with vacationers for a long time, according to the country’s tourism website, and a 50-acre amusement park is being planed with construction starting as early as late February of this year.

The provincial minister for tourism and sports, Syed Aqil Shah, has assured Sky News that “This project has nothing to do with Osama bin Laden,” but there are reports that the entire project was almost scrapped once due to fears that it may be dubbed “Osama Park.” The $30 million park will feature mini golf, restaurants, water sports and even a zoo. There will be access with tour guides to adventure sports in the neighboring Himalayan foothills like paragliding. Yes, really.
