There’s a catchphrase in real estate that goes, “Find a flaw, and make it a feature.” The region of Windsor-Essex in Ontario, Canada appears to be adopting that philosophy with one of the planks of its tourism promotion strategy. The area reportedly has an “out of control” overpopulation of coyotes. So they are encouraging visitors to come and hunt them. It’s the proverbial two birds, one stone proposition.
The only drawbacks of this plan seem to be a) the fact that there isn’t complete agreement on whether the overabundance of coyotes actually exists, and b) the distinct possibility that no one actually wants to go hunt them.
