Don’t get your hopes up just yet at what appears to be proof of visitors from other worlds. Anthropologists and scientists from Arizona State University who worked on the project believe that this particular society practiced the rare tradition of head binding, or deformation. While other dysmorphic skulls have been found in other areas of Mexico, this particular resting ground held 25 skulls &/or bodies, and 13 of them were manipulated into the alien-esque shape. Many of the skulls were those of children, which articulates the danger of this body modification. The large proportion of children may also explain why the practice was abandoned.
