Kung-fu king Jackie Chan is building his own theme park, JC World, in the Beijing suburb of Yizhuang. The Malaysian Times reports that it’s planned to cover a three-quarter-square mile and will be divided into five sections, each with a unique theme to provide visitors a variety of cultural experiences.
The theme park will feature Chan’s personal collection including jewelry, furniture, and at least four antique sandalwood Chinese buildings, purchased in the Anhui province during the 90s. The park will be mostly free but will include different paid attractions, and the money raised will be used to maintain the antique buildings. In addition to Chan’s own personal artifacts, the park will have the typical roller coasters, martial-arts memorabilia, and other amusement park favorites. So far, there’s no news on when the park will open or if it will offer classes teaching Rush Hour moves.
