Aeroflot flight attendant Tatiana Kozlenko has been permanently relieved of her duties after posting a photo to social media that went viral.

The image depicts the outstretched right arm of a female flight attendant making a rude gesture known colloquially as “the finger” from the rear the aircraft cabin, aimed at the plane’s unsuspecting passengers.
In a fitting twist, Kozlenko’s dismissal was announced via Twitter. The airline stated that the image reflects an attitude that is not consistent with its values. Kozlenko has spoken out against her sacking, claiming that it was not her in the photo and it’s not even one of Aeroflot’s planes.
