Stunningly skilled adventure photographer/cinematographer Tyler Stableford reveals 6 essential bits of technology for creating the best travel images. Among them is Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3, which Stableford describes as:
… the equivalent of having an entire darkroom and print lab on your laptop.
You can edit and process images in myriad color and black-and-white options, then export low-rez and high-rez images, or upload them immediately to web sites, ftp servers and photo sharing sites etc.
You can also print right from the application for an incredibly speedy workflow.
Having had the chance to really dig into it for our recent review, we couldn’t agree with him more. It’s simply fantastic software and if you’re serious about photography, it’s a must-have.
At north of $200, it’s not cheap but it’s worth every penny. Keep an eye out tomorrow and all this week as we’ll be giving away four retail copies of Lightroom 3, courtesy of Adobe.
Stay tuned for details!
