Following his foiled attempt to become America’s Commander-in-Chief, Mitt Romney has once again joined the board of directors of Marriott International.
Although Romney’s presidential campaign was fraught with gaffes such as comments about selling Big Bird down the river and possessing “binders full of women,” he seems to have a much better track record with the hotel chain (albeit without as much entertainment value). Romney, who is named after the company’s founder J. Willard Marriott, served on Marriott’s board from 1993-2002 and then from 2009-2011.
