A woman who was injured by a falling light fixture while staying at a hotel on business has been granted worker’s compensation. The judge ruled that the fact that she was engaged in sexual intercourse at the time was irrelevant, since she was staying at the hotel at her employer’s behest. The claim would have been granted had she been engaged in any other lawful activity when she sustained the injury to her face.
