I’ve always wanted to see the Arctic first-hand, but never felt that I had the time or the money. Catering to those for whom money is not an object, a British tour company has the time problem figured out. Transun now offers a day trip to the Arctic from England, for well-heeled travelers who only have a few hours to spare.
The itinerary can depart from London Gatwick, Birmingham, East Midlands, and Bristol airports and takes guests to Finnish Lapland for the day. Passengers are met at the airport in Lapland by snowmobiles that whisk them off for a day of adventuring above the Arctic Circle, before they are flown back to England without ever having to spend the night.
