Dutch designers Luc van Hoeckel and Pim van Baarsen have designed a playground for disabled children in Malawi, and the symbolism is neither on purpose or skipped over.

The designers wanted to create something “upcycled” and accessible to all children in the area, especially the youngsters housed in the hospital adjacent to the park. Fittingly, the main fixture is an old ambulance that makes up one of the main structures of the playground.
