After searching for and documenting millions of images on Flickr, researcher Eric Fischer has pinpointed New York City’s most photographed attraction, and the winner might surprise you.
According to Fischer, NYC’s most photographed landmark is not the Statue of Liberty, nor the Empire State Building, but rather the glass cube Apple Store on Fifth Avenue.
That’s right; Apple’s flagship store beat out centuries-old landmarks and the bright lights of Times Square to capture the title.
Please say it ain’t so.
