No doubt distraught that Sen. The man, 30, was charged Sunday with breach of peace. Police said he was brought to Rockville General Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation and later released. Authorities said they received several emergency calls about the man, who witnesses say was standing at the corner of Route 83 and Regan Road at about 11 a.m. Officers said they pulled out bean bag and taser guns, and the man became polite and cooperative.
The best part is how they released him within a few hours. Really? That’s all it takes? What was that psych evaluation like?
“Don’t you think it’s a little weird that you were standing on a highway dressed up like a ninja and talking about attacking a sitting US Senator?”
“Yeah I guess in retrospect it kind of was.”
“Oh. Well fair enough. I guess you’re good to go then. Just remember: no more waving nunchucks at imaginary politicians, no matter how much you think they deserve it.”
We also like how this model citizen became “polite and cooperative” after the cops pulled bean bags and tasers on him. No kidding. Not like those intransigent emus down in the South, who had to be repeatedly tasered and handcuffed by Mississippi’s finest. Stupid emus.
