I can’t say that alcohol and zip lining form a natural combination in my mind. If I’ve thought of them together at all it would be in the context of the need for Dutch Courage ahead of the big thrill. Now there’s an attraction in California that combines the two in a very different way.
The Pinot Express is a zipline that spans 1,800 feet, whizzing above a pinot noir vineyard in Santa Margarita, California. You have to find your own method for summoning the courage to do the run, but the adventurous souls who do are rewarded with a wine-tasting at the end.
