The fate of several works by Pablo Picasso is in the hands of Norwegian officials as they debate whether they will be demolished.
The series of concrete etchings designed by Picasso, as well as more by Norwegian artist Carl Nesjar, adorn the walls of a block of government buildings in Oslo that was bombed in 2011 by terrorist and rampage killer Anders Breivik. Now Norway is debating what to do with the buildings, which sustained significant damage in the bombing and have a great deal of emotional baggage associated with them as well.
